How can you put all those together and make it work? Well, just go see Robin, because really, she is the brains behind the idea. She is hosting a Blog Hop and it’s gonna be a blast. While those of us who didn’t go to Blogher are watching and waiting as the Tweets roll in about the fun, we are going to have our own virtual party.
Yea, you read that right, a virtual party. Here’s quote from someone that Robin and I both know and for me, it says multitudes about how we view the entire business of blogging.
John Andrews says: "That’s the beauty of social media, you can turn conversation on a dime."
You may or may not remember that I did a great campaign with Yoursphere….the campaign is over but check out my dudes in their Create, Connect and Share T-shirts courtesy of Yourspehere..
I received a shirt too but it is not really that attractive on me right now, as soon as I lose some weight, you will get a photo of all three of us…
Please remember to include our standard disclosure language below in Yoursphere posts:? "I wrote this review while participating in the Yoursphere Test Drive program by Mom Central on behalf of Yoursphere. I received a free lifetime Gold membership on Yoursphere.com, Yoursphere t-shirts, and a $50 American Express gift card to facilitate my review.
How do you feel about the big Broadway events? I’ve never had the opportunity to see a show on Broadway but hopefully I can before long. So, when I was given an opportunity to review the CD of the Masterworks Broadway Promises, Promises, I grabbed it up.
Now, for the most part, I promised to get this review out weeks ago. However, we’ve been traveling like mad doing baseball stuff. The best part of it all was that two of the trips I took, I was alone and I could just listen to the CD as often and as loud as I wanted. I rarely get opportunities like that so while I didn’t get my review up like I had planned, I was busily listening.
Just in case you wanna check it out, the Book is by Neil Simon, the music by Burt Bacharach and the lyrics by Hal David. The story is based on the screenplay “The Apartment” by Billy Wilder and I.A.L.Diamond. You can check out the site and listen to the album, follow them on Twitter, Facebook and you can see more on YouTube. Go ahead, give them a try and let me know what you think…pick a favorite and then I’ll let you know if we liked the same performances.
The idea of organizing my closet seemed unbelievable. And, it also seemed a bit daunting to say the least. I was going to make a photo for you before and after the closet re-do but there was no way I was going to show you that mess when I finally saw just how bad it was.
But, here we are with the school about to start and we are making an attempt in the next week to get everyone in bed earlier, closets and supplies ready for the first day of school and that included organizing my own closets.
Trust me when I say getting the kids in order and prepared was much easier than dealing with my own silly closet. If you haven’t tried the Wonder Hanger you should definitely give them a try. I received one to use for my review purpose and I bought 2 more and let me tell you why.
The first one I used in my closet because I honestly have gained so much weight that I can’t wear many of my clothes. But, since I am on a weight loss program, my weight is bouncing around so I need a wide variety of sizes in my closet. So, I used the one I received to review to try to get something going in my own closet.
As I finished up with that, I realized that we had a lot of clothes hanging in the laundry room where I am constantly hanging clothes fresh out of the dryer. This presents a couple of problems, one the bar is getting full and I couldn’t cram any more hanger on the rod. Plus when the boys go after their own clothes, my youngest son can’t reach that high.
So, I got myself another Wonder Hanger and put it there. Now I have almost twice as much room for clothes and I can hang the boys down lower so the 5 year old can reach his. And, since that seem to be working well, I got one to go in his closet and hang his good clothes on one, his play clothes on another and then he not only knew what was what but he could reach the clothes.
So, there you go…but you are still not getting any photos of my closets because, ahem…there is still much work to do.
Yes, indeed, you read that right. I have a lot going on for a sweet and innocent stay at home mother. As a matter of fact, I quit answering that as a choice of professions. Instead, I am a work at home mother. So there, take that.
And, the only way to keep up with the kids, their school, the activities, my work, my freelance, my reviews, my contests…you get the point…is to have a great organizational strategy.
And, now I do..just look at this beauty….
I kid you not, this thing is awesome. I wrote a full review on another blog of mine, Mom-E-Centric entitled From One Busy Body to one BusyBodyBook
Go Check it out! Too neat!
Ok, I know, sounds boring enough doesn’t it. If you have children you know how excited they get over simple things. And, now, you can get them excited over WAT-AAH!
Indeed, you need to check out a full review of WAT-AAH by me and also get your child interested in WAT-AAH. You can put your zip code in and find out where you can buy WAT-AAH as well.
And, of course, don’t forget to read about the contest and get your kiddo entered to win some great prizes.
Go, now, I’m waiting…
I’m in love with office supplies. I am not kidding. Wayne and I will go into office supply stores or just the school aisle and browse as often as possible. But, let’s just say I am one lucky duck because I had some great writing utensils delivered to my front door. No kidding, ZebraPens came right to my house for me to check out.
So, yes, I did get the pens to check out and write a review. But, I wouldn’t lie to you about such an important matter. I mean, it’s like …baby formula (well, maybe), I take my supplies seriously.
Let me show you what I got. First these cool pencils. Take a look
It looks like one of your kids pencils that’s been sharpened down to a nub eh? Nope! This is a mechanical pencil with a regular eraser, none of those popping off because you scrub too hard erasers.
Honestly, is that not adorable. Other than that, I received some pretty cool ink pens too. I love a fine point pen but often rollerball pens are difficult to write with when you press down too hard. But, check out this beauty…
And yes, I love the green one a lot….Here’s a picture of them in the packaging…
So, now, go get yourself some…because they are freakin’ awesome!
